In these Terms and Conditions “we, our, us, www.securatot.co.uk” refers to “Securatot Ltd”. Any conditions stated on this website do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Acceptance of terms

Both browsing and purchasing from the securatot.co.uk website will indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions set out herein.

Modification of terms

Securatot reserves the right to update or modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, use of the website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the terms and conditions.

This site is owned and operated by Securatot Ltd. All rights in this website are owned by Securatot Ltd, any use, copying or modification is prohibited.

Product descriptions

Great care has been taken with the representation of products on this site to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

All sizes and weights are approximate and should be used as a guide only.

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it and whilst we do our best to reproduce colours accurately, some variation may occur. If this is an important consideration in your choice of item please contact us for a brochure.

We reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice.

Ordering goods

Buying products from Securatot is easy and secure. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Once you have submitted your order to us you will shortly receive an email confirming that your order is being processed. At this point you must check that all details are correct. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order by us.

We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to anyone in these circumstances. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us takes place when we send you an email confirming that your goods have been dispatched. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.

If your credit/debit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall immediately issue a credit to the card used in the order of the amount charged.

Payment

All prices listed on the website are exclusive of delivery charges which you will be made aware of when placing your order.

You can pay for your products with any of the major credit and debit cards using our payment service from SagePay. SagePay (formally Protx) is the UK's largest independent Payment Service Provider who handle all card transactions on our behalf. This service provides highly secure card processing services and should give you complete confidence in the security of your details.

Once your payment is complete, you will receive an order confirmation email. We will then email once your order has been despatched.

Although we make every effort to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, there may be rare instances where an error in pricing occurs. Should we discover a pricing error we will contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with your order at the correct price. We are also entitled to make any adjustments in price to take account of any change in prices from the supplier or a change in tax.

Provided that an order has not been shipped, we will endeavour to do our best to change the order if you so require.

Orders will only be processed once authorisation of your credit/debit card has been properly received. You can alternatively pay by cheque made out to Securatot Ltd, goods purchased in this way will not be despatched until clearance of the cheque has been obtained.

Delivery

If upon receipt of goods there is visible damage please ask the courier to make a note of the damage when signing for the goods. You must inform us within 7 days after the date of delivery and we will arrange either a replacement or a full refund.

England, Wales and Scottish Lowlands

Any orders over £100 are shipped free of charge by our courier within England, Wales and Scottish Lowlands only. Orders below the value of £100 will incur a delivery cost of £4.95. We aim to deliver stock items within 3-5 working days of funds clearing. If an item is out of stock we will email you to inform you of the expected delivery date. If the item is out of stock with the manufacturer we will inform you by email giving you the right to cancel your order and we will refund your payment.

The courier will make three attempts to deliver the goods however, in the event of an item being returned to Securatot due to non delivery, a charge will be made to you at a cost of up to £20.00 for the redelivery back to our offices.

Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland

Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland will incur an additional delivery charge, please contact us for a quote. We aim to deliver stock items within 5-7 working days of funds clearing. If an item is out of stock we will email you to inform you of the expected delivery date. If the item is out of stock with the manufacturer we will inform you by email giving you the right to cancel your order and we will refund your payment.

International

International delivery charges are calculated automatically in the shopping basket. Such charges will be made based on the volumetric weight of the item once it is packaged for export. You will be informed of the delivery cost once you enter a non UK delivery address before your order is processed..

The transit times for international deliveries will be dependent on the receiving country, please contact us for more information.

In the event of an item being returned to Securatot as a result of non delivery, a charge will be made to you. The cost incurred is the same cost as the delivery payment made for the goods to be delivered to your address.

Incorrect delivery address

If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, Securatot Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.

Returns policy: your right to cancellation

Securatot want all customers to be totally satisfied with their goods. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. Please do notify us by email or call us to let us know that you wish to cancel or to return your order.

Should you wish to cancel an order, goods must be returned back to Securatot. Customers must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in their possession. We ask that all goods are returned preferably in their original packaging; if this is not possible, then you do need to make sure they are packaged in a way that means they do not get damaged during their journey back to us. We can only fully refund items returned to us with their original labels still attached. 

Securatot reserve the right to inspect returned goods to ensure customers have taken reasonable care of the returned items. Upon inspection of returned goods, Securatot reserve the right to reduce your refund if you have reduced the value of the item in any way.

Unfortunately we are NOT able to reimburse return delivery costs. We are also unable to refund any initial delivery costs incurred by customers outside UK Mainland to have their seat delivered. For your own protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to provide you with proof of delivery. Consumers must exercise reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods and that the goods are not damaged in transit or we will be unable to accept the return.

We are happy to arrange collection of the seat using our preferred delivery service. The costs will depend on the destination the seat needs to be retrieved from, UK mainland will be at a cost of £20.00, other destinations will vary, please call us for a quote.

If your return satisfies the above conditions, you should get a refund within 14 days from the moment we receive the returned goods as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Warrantee - UK mainland customers

All items are covered by the manufacturer warrantee. If a fault is found please email enquiries@securatot.co.uk with a description of the fault and supply supporting photographs. Should the item need to be returned to us for evaluation during the first six months, we will collect and inspect the item. If necessary, the item will be returned to the manufacturer for further inspection with a view to repair or replace. No charges are made for the repair, collection and return of your item should the item be found to be faulty. Please note, if upon inspection, no fault is found or the fault is classed as accidental damage, mis-use or wear and tear then you may be liable for any carriage and repair costs.

After six months, if a manufacturing fault occurs that is covered by the warrantee and within the warrantee period, we will repair the goods or send the spare parts free of charge. The consumer will incur all carriage costs.

Customers are advised to keep the original packaging of all products in the event the item needs to be returned. If you do not have the original packaging, the goods will need to be suitably packaged for delivery back to Securatot.

Access to a loan seat is limited but available to customers who wish to pay for return delivery charges on the loan seat.

Warrantee - outside UK mainland and international

If you find a fault with your goods at point of receipt, you must contact Securatot within 3 days of the delivery to report the damage with supporting evidence. We will either offer a replacement seat, offer a full refund or replace the faulty part if so possible.

Post receipt of goods (3 days after acceptance of delivery), if a manufacturing fault occurs that is covered by the warrantee and within the warrantee period, we will repair the goods or send the spare parts free of charge. The consumer will incur all carriage costs. Please note that faults caused by accident, neglect or mis-use by the customer or normal wear and tear are not covered.

All products sold on this site fully comply with either UK or EU safety regulations.

Complaints

We want you to be happy with the service we provide and welcome feedback at any point via either email or by telephone. In the event that you feel you need to make a complaint, please contact us and we will provide our initial response within 48 hours of receiving the complaint.
