On April 11th 2010 Securatot secured their first mention in a national newspaper! Each week, the Sunday Times feature a car clinic as part of the weekly paper. The clinic invites readers to pose questions and one such question was raised from a reader in Birmingham with two children under the age of three years. The reader asked if it was true that rear facing carseats for older children are indeed safer and if so, where could they be bought in the UK.

The answer highlighted that there is compelling evidence that rear facing car seats are safer for children under the age of 4yrs and raised the study conducted by the British Medical Journal.
